Kilted 2016 Events Taking Shape
Hello gang!
Justin here firing up the ol’ blog to let you know that September is just around the corner and we have events getting lined up all over the place!
Planning an event and want us to share it? —> [email protected]
Kick Off Weekend!
September 2-5th Pleasanton, CA - Caledonian Club 151st annual Highland Games and Clan Gathering - We’ll be there all weekend. Not in a booth, trapped and hoping you drop by, but everywhere. Shirts, patches, and come play the “Catch the Facts” game and find the pipers to win prizes!
September 8th - McCordsville, IN - Scarlet Lane Brewing Company, 3pm-8pm. 20% of that day’s proceeds go to KTKC.
September 17th Hollister, CA - Renaissance Faire - We’ll be there, doing what we always do with all the Lords and Ladies we can find. Maybe a jester or commoner as well.
September 18th Lafayette, CA - Lafayette Art and Wine Festival - Come see some great art and learn some great facts about common cancers and how you can kick them! Meet the co-founders and maybe even win a T-Shirt!
Buffalo Wild Wings Wing Night - (Confirmation pending), but we need local KTKC reps to contact the local BWW (When we tell you when and how) and get a flyer. Everyone who comes in with a flyer on that day, 10% of their bill goes to KTKC (including beer, so we should do really well). So far we have reps at almost 30 BWW locations in 9 states ready to sign up. You don’t need to show up, no booth to man. Simply get as many people to bring in a flyer as possible, then swing in yourself, in a kilt, to enjoy some great wings and support your favorite pantsless charity. The local manager will contact you with rules and details, more to follow.
September 23rd - Muncie, IN - Guardian Brewing Company 3p-11p. 10% of proceeds to KTKC.
September 30th - Danville, CA - McGah’s Pub and Piano Bar 6pm-close. KTKC wrap party. Dualing piano players in kilts, drink specials and a chance to reflect on another amazing year at KTKC! A portion of tips and food goes to KTKC.
Do you want to plan an event for KTKC? Contact [email protected] for details and guidelines imposed upon us because of our IRS status as well as tax benefits for your donors, vendors and sites!
Thanks for making September a bigger success than last year!
